One of our customers in Santa Monica has a very large system that went down last week. Most of the time this is a fairly easy fix like a tripped breaker or even a belt. This turned out to be the motor was bad and needed to be replaced.
Normally this is a pretty quick job too but this motor was 15 Horsepower which is pretty uncommon for our industry. To put it in perspective, the more common motors that we replace on a kitchen exhaust fan are around two horsepower.
The restaurant was up and running in a few hours.
